Password-Free Login System

Cookaborough supports secure password-free login emails. With this, customers do not need to remember a password.

Each time they need to log in:

  • Enter their email
  • Select “send me a login link”
  • A new login code and link will be sent to the email they entered.
  • Selecting “login” or entering the code will allow them to login.

This helps simplify access and reduce forgotten password issues.

Troubleshooting & Helping Customers

Customer Cannot Find the Setup Account Email

Ask the customer to:

  • Check their spam or junk folder
  • Search their inbox for your business name or Cookaborough
  • The email subject will be “You're Ready to Order with (Business Name)”

If they still cannot find the email:

Resend the Setup Email

  1. Open the customer’s profile
  2. Select the Actions menu
  3. Click Send setup account email
  4. Confirm to resend the email

The customer will immediately receive a new setup email.

Customer Didn’t Receive the Login Code Email

If the customer has clicked “Send secure login link” but no email arrives:

  1. Ask them to check spam/junk folders
  2. Confirm the email address entered is correct
  3. Ask them to wait a few minutes and try again

If needed:

  • Resend the “login email” from the customer profile in the actions bar
  • Confirm there are no typos in the customer email address

Login Link or Code Expired

Login links and codes:

  • Expire after 60 minutes
  • Can only be used once

If expired:

  • The customer can simply request a new login email
  • If they are unsure on how to request a new login email, you can send it from the customer profile for them.

Tips for Supporting New Customers

  • Double check customer email addresses before creating accounts
  • Explain that customers do not need passwords during setup.
  • Reassure customers that they can always request a new login code if they get logged out in future or forget their password.
