About announcements
Announcements allow you to communicate directly with customers while they’re browsing your Cookaborough homepage or menu. They’re a simple way to make sure key messages are seen at the right time, without relying on emails or social media.
Announcements are fully customisable, so you can tailor both the wording and the look to suit your brand.
You can use announcements to:
- Let customers know about a holiday or temporary closure
- Highlight a special promotion or discount
- Announce a new dish or menu release
There are two types of announcements available:
Pop-ups
Pop-ups appear in the middle of the screen on your homepage and menu. They’re best for important or time-sensitive messages you want customers to notice immediately.
Banners
Banners display across the top of your homepage and menu. They’re ideal for ongoing updates, promotions, or gentle reminders.
