How to create Pre-approved SaH applications
A complete guide to segmenting and engaging your customers.

When creating a SaH application for a customer, you have the option to select “Pre-approved by Care Provider.”

If you have the permission of the Care Manager, selecting this option will automatically approve the application, allowing the customer to start placing orders immediately.


This is a fast and efficient way to set-up SaH customers when you have an established relationship with both the Care Manager or Care Provider.

When should I use “Pre-approved by Care Provider”?

SaH applications can be submitted in two ways:

1. Apply on behalf of customer

Choose this option when Care Provider approval is still required.

  • The application will be sent to the customer’s Care Provider
  • The Care Provider must review and approve it before co-funding can be applied

2. Pre-approved by Care Provider

Only choose this option when you have explicit approval from the Care Provider.

  • The application is automatically approved
  • Co-funded orders can proceed immediately


Important: Before using Pre-approved

Only use the Pre-approved option if:

  • You have an existing relationship with the Care Provider
  • They have given you clear, explicit permission to apply for pre-approved applications on behalf of their clients.


If you do not have prior approval:

  • Co-funding may not be applied to the customer’s orders
  • The customer may be required to pay the full amount

To avoid issues, always confirm approval with the Care Provider before selecting this option.
