Enable assisted order fees
Once enabled in settings, assisted order fees will apply to manual orders that are created on behalf of a customer.

About assisted order fees

Cooks can manually create orders on behalf of customers, including phone and in-store orders.

Because manual orders often require additional time and resources, Cooks have the option to enable an assisted order fee in their settings. Once enabled, this fee is automatically applied to any manual order placed for a customer. It can also be adjusted on a per-order basis if needed.

On invoices, the assisted order fee is included within the Service Fee line item. For SaH and NDIS customers, this cost is typically covered by the Care Provider or Plan Manager through the customer’s package or plan.

Our Service Fees help cover the additional operational costs involved in supporting government programs. This includes things like setting up and managing customer profiles, handling applications, generating compliant split-payment invoices, reconciling payments, placing manual or phone orders on a customer's behalf, and providing ongoing support to customers, Care Providers, and Plan Managers. The fee ensures we can continue delivering a high level of service to everyone involved.
