About customer groups
Customer Groups help you organise customers based on their ordering activity, tags, and other criteria. Once a group is created, you can send targeted email messages or apply promotional discounts to its members. There are two types of groups - Filtered or Custom.
Filtered Groups
Filtered Groups automatically update based on selected criteria, making it easy to apply promotions or send emails to relevant customers. Filters include ordering activity, customer tags, delivery zones, email domains, and Government Program (SaH or NDIS) customers.
Custom Groups
Custom Groups allow you to manually select specific customers for promotions or communications. This is useful for engaging with exclusive networks, loyal customers, or community groups.
